Do you know a Clean Air Champion? A Clean Air Champion is a Bay Area resident who goes ‘above and beyond’ to preserve air quality at home, on the job or in the community. Let us know if someone in your community is a Clean Air Champion worthy of being honored.

Winners will be recognized at a public presentation at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District headquarters in San Francisco.

Nominations will be accepted until May 31, 2006.
Winners will be announced in the fall.

The Clean Air Champions award was created in 1992 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a consistent, inspirational and personal commitment to improve air quality. Read more about the history of the effort and past winners.

The program is co-sponsored by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District), American Lung Association (ALA), Breathe California, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) LIVE 105, KCBS All News Radio and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA).
